The Commission on Audit (COA) Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere (MOVE) National Organization and Central Office Chapter successfully conducted the 2025 National Conference and Planning Activity on 6-7 March 2025 at the COA International Training Center and Dormitory, Tagaytay City. This event was held in celebration of the 2025 National Women’s Month, reinforcing COA MOVE’s commitment to promote gender equality, empower women, and end violence against women and children.

The conference gathered participants from all COA MOVE Regional Chapters, along with those from the Central Office Chapter. The event served as a platform for discussing the respective Chapter’s 2024 accomplishments, advocacy initiatives, and formulating plans for the 2025. Key topics included strengthening MOVE’s presence in regional offices, enhancing awareness campaigns, and reinforcing partnerships with other government organizations dedicated to the same objectives.

One of the highlights was the election of a new set of officers who will lead the COA MOVE National Organization for CY 2025-2026. Director Richard M. Fulleros was elected as the National President.

COA MOVE reaffirms its commitment to creating a workplace free from violence, discrimination, and gender-based injustices. With the new leadership and the collective dedication of its members, COA MOVE is set to advance its mission of promoting a safe and inclusive workplace for all.

The successful conduct of the 2025 National Conference and Planning Activity marks another milestone in COA MOVE’s continuing journey towards meaningful change, aligned with the objectives of National Women’s Month and the broader goal of gender equality and women empowerment. # – contributed by Al Salazar
