Commission on Audit (COA) Commissioner Roland C. Pondoc and Assistant Commissioner Maribeth F. De Jesus led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and unveiling of the plaque to mark the inauguration of the newly constructed Provincial Satellite Auditing Office (PSAO) Annex Building in Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on 03 November 2022.
COA Regional Office No. IV-B Director Lynflor M. Adolfo, Director Amelia P. Valdez of the General Services Office, Supervising Auditor Norma S. Racelis, Provincial Governor Victorino Dennis M. Socrates, Atty. Norman Yap as representative of City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron, COA Region IV-B officials, auditors and personnel attended the ceremony.

Commissioner Pondoc thanked the City Government of Puerto Princesa and the Province of Palawan for their good will in providing the land where the PSAO Annex Building was built. He also extended his compliments to all the members of the project management team and all the COA officials and personnel from Palawan and Regional Office No. IV-B.
Commissioner Pondoc said that the dedication of the new building should be treated as a tangible evidence of independence and integrity. “It also represents the idea of government agencies working in collaboration for the nation’s common good,” he added.
Governor Socrates noted that the new building will make auditors’ work easier. “Makakatulong ito sa pagpapaigting ng inyong gawain sa Commission on Audit, na gabayan ang lahat ng ahensya ng pamahalaan sa kanilang pagkilos tungo sa kabutihan ng lahat,” he said.
For his part, Mayor Bayron as represented by Atty. Yap, observed that “COA’s presence here helps make the growth and progress of our city highly observable.” Rev. Fr. Juan Felipe P Torrecampo officiated in the inaugural ceremony with prayers and the blessing. #
