Commission on Audit (COA) Chairperson Michael G. Aguinaldo and Commissioner Roland C. Pondoc led 14 other COA Regional Office No. XI officials and employees in engaging students of the Ateneo de Davao University at a forum organized by the Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Agham Pampulitika ng Ateneo (SAMAPULA) on 23 August 2018 at the Community Center, Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City.

Working on its commitment to enhance the audit of the CY 2018 accounts of the Local Government Sector, the Commission on Audit (COA) Regional Office No. V conducted a briefing on Revenue Audit from 6 to 7 August 2018. Around 83 audit team leaders and members from the six provinces of the region participated in the seminar held at the RDC Hall of the National Economic and Development Authority Region 5.

The Commission on Audit, thru the Human Resource Management Office, has brought again potential career opportunities to new Certified Public Accountants (CPA) during their Oath Taking Ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

Nearly 2,800 new CPAs arrived at the Forum, PICC, for the historic event. Immediately after the ceremony, participants took time to visit booths installed by prospect employers. Among those present are Department of Budget and Management, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Bureau of Internal Revenue, and Anti-Money Laundering Council. Some private companies also participated, among them is the giant shipping firm Stolt-Nielsen Limited. 

 Concurrent celebration with this year’s oath-taking rites is the 95th anniversary of the Accountancy Profession and Board of Accountancy in providing invaluable service to the Philippines and the global accountancy community.
