ABOUT TSO
History
The
creation of a Technical Staff in the Commission on Audit was
realized in 1976 under the 1976 C.O.A. Reorganization Plan. The
reorganization was made by virtue of Section 7-C of P.D. No. 898
- Providing for the Restructuring of the Commission on Audit
which was signed into law on March 3, 1976. The Technical Staff,
which later became the Technical Advisory Staff (TAS) was
directly attached to the Office of the Chairman, then Chairman
Francisco S. Tantuico, Jr. The TAS was utilized to support the
demands of organized auditing services specially in the field of
Technical Auditing.
Mission
TSO is task to provide reliable analyses and appropriate
recommendations on cost information, property appraisal,
contract review, project evaluation, and technical inspections
for its primary client.
Vision
The Technical Services
Office (TSO) being the Technical arm of the Audit Institution
obligates itself to fulfill its crucial role of providing
technical support.
