In line with DBM Circular Letter No. 2003-8 dated December 08, 2003, with amendment under DBM CL No. 2003-8A dated July 02, 2004, I hereby authorize the payment of the Uniform/Clothing Allowance for CY 2008 in cash at P4,000.00 each to all incumbent COA Officials and employees.

Included, among others, are:

1. Those incumbents who are expected to render at least six (6) consecutive months for this year including leaves of absence with pay.

2. Newly hired personnel who have rendered six (6) consecutive months of service.

3. Those who are on detail with other government agencies.

Excluded from this grant, among others, are:

1. Those who are on leave without pay for more than six (6) consecutive months.

2. Those who are hired on job order basis as consultants, laborers of contracted projects (pakiao), including those paid on piecework basis and other similarly situated.

Employees covered by the centralized payroll shall be paid thru the bank while those under the Regional payroll shall be paid in the regions. Payment shall be made on March 15, 2008.
