Regional Offices

In the regions outside of Metro Manila, each regional office is headed by a regional director with the rank of Director IV. The director will be responsible for the audit of agencies within his regional jurisdiction and for transmitting the regional audit reports of agencies to the concerned cluster director in the Central Office for consolidation. The Annual Audit Reports of the LGUs and stand-alone agencies in the region will be transmitted to their respective heads.

Lending assistance to the regional director are the Technical and Information Technology, Legal, Administration, Training and Finance Services.

A supervising auditor, who reports directly to the regional director, is in charge of an audit group constituted for deployment to the various clientele agencies of the region, whether regional offices of national and corporate government agencies as well as national, local, and corporate agencies other than regional offices situated in the province or city within the region.

Standards Boards

Committed to maintaining its world-class status in auditing and accounting practices, the Commission has also created the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board and the Public Sector Auditing Standards Board. The two boards, created directly under the Commission Proper, will have members functioning on an ex-officio capacity.

The ex-officio members of the Public Sector Accounting Standards Board are the Commissioner I, and the assistant commissioners of the National, Local and Corporate Government Sectors, the Planning, Finance and Management and the Government Accountancy Sectors.

The Public Sector Auditing Standards Board, on the other hand, is composed of the Commissioner II, and the assistant commissioners of the National, Local and Corporate Government Sectors, and the Special Services and Professional Development Sectors.

The other permanent boards and committees include the International Affairs Committee, Career Development Board, ICT Board, Special Audits Board, Adjudication and Settlement Board, PWA Board of Trustees, Scholarship Board, Selection and Promotions Boards Level I & II and Level III, Regional Selection and Promotions Board Level I and II and up to Salary Grade 23, the Bids and Awards Committee, Regional Bids and Awards Committee, Gender and Development Focal Point, Regional Gender and Development Committee, and Disposal Committee.
