Chair Carague's UNBOA victory

The euphoria over the Chairman's uncontested election to the United Nations Board of Auditors for an unprecedented six-year term (2002-2008) is captured in photos of the event taken at the United Nations Headquarters and Philippine Center in New York where he thanked the UN Philippine Mission, COA-IAD and all others who helped in the campaign; and where he receive felicitations from UN Ambassadors, including Tajikistan's Rashid Alimov, Singapore's Tan Yee Woan, Uzbekistan's Alisher Vohidov and Georgia's Chkeheidze, and other UN personalities; and back here at home where COA Officials and employees led by Commissioner Raul C. Flores gave him a resounding hero's welcome.
