Invitation to Apply for Eligibility and to Bid Procurement / Acquisition of Security Services
being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the procurement/acquisition of security services for its Offices covering the period from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the Bid opening. The duration of the contract to be bid shall be from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2011, subject to performance evaluation before the end of each year based on the set of COA Performance Criteria. The ABC for the second and third years shall be adjusted based on the increase in minimum daily wage, increase in taxes, and increase or decrease in the number of security guards. Interested Bidders may obtain a complete set of Bidding Documents starting April 8, 2008 to April 28, 2008, upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of Seven Thousand pesos (P 7,000.00) from the BAC Secretariat, c/o Director Mila R. Peñas, Procurement Division, COA, Central Office, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. The Commission on Audit will hold a Pre-Bid Conference open to all interested parties at 2:00 PM, April 14, 2008 at the BAC Office, Room 102, Ground Floor, Former SAADO Building, COA Complex, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. Deadline for the submission of Bids shall be on April 29, 2008, 2:00 PM at BAC Office, Room 102, Ground Floor former SAADO Building, COA Complex, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. Immediately after the deadline, bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. The Commission on Audit reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
